Every sanctioned LSMAF event, from a club regional to the National Championship, runs under the same Competition Rulebook, is officiated by certified judges and referees, and logs its results to one national record.
Solo technical performance of the nine-form curriculum, judged frame by frame against the published technical standard. Divisions by rank and age; scored by certified Forms judges.
Two-person choreographed sequences judged on timing, technique, control, and mutual safety, the bridge discipline between artistry and live combat.
Regulated full-contact competition under the Federation Combat regulations: certified referees, mandated protective equipment, sanctioned age floors, and electronic scoring backed by Century Martial Arts.
LSMAF certifies its judges and referees at two levels under published standards. Level-1 officials judge and referee sanctioned competition; Level-2 officials head-judge events and supervise certification. Certification is open to qualifying Federation members, including the senior members of affiliated academies and chartered clubs.
| Level | Authority |
|---|---|
| LEVEL 1 | Judge & referee sanctioned events: all three formats, under the published certification standard. |
| LEVEL 2 | Head judge & certify: event supervision, results certification, and Level-1 examination. |
Referee Certification Standards (the complete published requirements for both levels) are available to members on request.
Every sanctioned result reports through the Federation's Results Reporting Procedure into the National Rankings System, one ladder across all affiliated academies, leagues, and chartered clubs, in every country the Federation reaches. An athlete's standing means the same thing everywhere the sport is played under the rulebook.
Rankings publish in two tiers, never blurred. Community (STX) is league play, where City Teams earn points for their cities. LSMAF Sanctioned is the individual title tier under the Competition Rulebook. Rankings, registration, live brackets, and results all run on Saber Circuit, the official tournament management platform of the Federation.
Academies and chartered clubs in good standing may apply to sanction competitions. Sanctioned events run under the Competition Rulebook with certified officials and are hosted on Saber Circuit (bracket generation, team registration, and live match tracking included), and their results enter the permanent Federation record, including the activity file behind the international recognition effort.
